From December 5 to 8 will be held in Rome at the Palazzo dei Congressi (located in Piazzale Kennedy, 1), the twelfth edition of “More books, more free,” national fair of small and medium publishers.
As every year, the news will be lots and lots of visitors will certainly be happy about. However, during this year, unlike the previous ones, there will be a novelty that will surely capture the attention of everyone.
In fact, this year, for the free time in Italy, will be present (STAND A 24 – Fuis) the association NBA – No Brand Art, which includes 23 novelists, poets, essayists, editors, translators and promoters, who have decided to promote art focused on the content and autonomy through self-publishing and self-promotion.
The intent is to meet readers and bring their experience of self-publishing and, for those with public publishing house, self-promotion in a professional context.
But what is self-publishing?
The self-publishing allows you to access the publication by managing all the phases with the help of professionals and integrate with their business promotion that offered from publishing traditional. Added to this is the opportunity to access, through translation, markets potentially boundless thanks to online sales channels.
A new short circuit, which promises interesting implications and prospects, especially for emerging authors.
Not only that, through the self-publishing and self-promotion, authors can experiment with new ways of publishing, new genres and publishing formats (interactive books, e-books, etc..), So as to be able to respond more and more to the growing needs of the reader.
Readers in search of new talent will be discovered in the works of the authors independent of quality, a rich supply of original books, readily available and various genres.
An event not to be missed, during the days of the fair, will undoubtedly be the conference “The independent authors, self-publishing and the new frontiers of publishing,” where it comes to this and other issues of self-publishing and self-promotion, which will be held Saturday, December 7 at stand A24 at 16 in collaboration with Fuis.
